The Bank of America Plaza is the most prominent feature of the downtown Atlanta skyline. Towering over 1000 feet above Peachtree Street, the Plaza provides over 1.2 million square feet of office and commercial space. Reflecting a bit of the same Art Deco presence of other skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building, the Bank of America Plaza is predominately a post-modernistic design.
The Sun Trust Plaza is the second tallest high rise building in downtown Atlanta and one of the most recognizable buildings in the city. Once referred to as One Peachtree Center, this magnificent structure rises over 870 feet above Peachtree Street. One of the many high rise buildings constructed during the 1980's and 1990s, the building sports a unique crown that reflects a postmodern architectural style seen in many of downtown Atlanta's skyscrapers.
One Atlantic Center features fifty floors that rise 820 feet above West Peachtree Street on the outskirts of downtown Atlanta. The building's exterior is covered in pink hued Spanish granite with a beautiful copper crown. Two shorter companion buildings maintain the same post modern architectural style, creating a focal point of the Midtown Atlanta area.
